Erasmus+ Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices programme

“Reaching further: Exploring the healing effects of Adventure Education and Experiential Learning, a methodology to increase the quality of youth work for European youngsters with fewer opportunities”.

Experientia is a participant member and is part of the coordination team of this strategic partnership in collaboration with other seven countries. Approved and funded by the Erasmus + program, this project has a duration of 18 months (November 2015 – May 2017) with the following objectives:

  • To research about Adventure Therapy and publish a common manual on good practices in the work with youth with fewer opportunities in non-formal education.
  • To train and create opportunities for intervention to workers in youth field for the eight partner organizations.
  • Create an European website spread Adventure Therapy’s methodology (
  • To organize the I Gathering for Adventure Therapy in Europe (GATE) in Valencia in February 2017.
